Hand quilted table set #2

Today I can share my second hand quilted project: the second hexie table set from my set of six to be. I took the chance of some of the rare sunlight moments in our vacation this year to snap a picture of the quilting outside.


I am happy with how it turned out in the end. I chose to do much more quilting than in the first piece - with many parallelish lines. In the beginning, it looked so crooked I almost started over but with every line that I quilted, the overall picture came together.

Now that I'm back home, I also finished the binding on the second table set. Here's the two finished ones together:


I think you can see the difference in quilting - now it's time for a wash to remove the chalk markings 😉

I will have to order some more of the background fabric before I can start on the next one though.... I'll be quilting each set differently, to get to know some different techniques... Is there any quilt pattern you would suggest?
